Parking is one of the major challenges we constantly have with rented apartments in Nigeria. In cases where the building in question has a large parking space there seems to be an obstruction of some sort \u2013 when cars are not parked properly they prevent other cars(and tenants) from moving out or around the parking lot.<\/p>\n

Parking your car(s) properly in the parking lot seems unachievable sometimes but with the few tips we would be providing below, it shouldn\u2019t be a big deal any longer.<\/p>\n

Establish a parking space<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first thing to do is choose your favourite parking spot, you can choose a spot where you know is not always clustered by other cars \u2013 somewhere farther from pedestrian to avoid scratches and unexpected accident, you also get a more spacious spot comfortably. If you lucky to park in the spot a couple of times or more, it\u2019s possible other tenants unconsciously reserve that spot for you.<\/p>\n

Have proper understanding with the tenants<\/strong><\/p>\n

Coexisting with other occupants of the house is one of the best relationships you can have with them. You might be lucky and have a good relationship with your neighbours or otherwise. All you have to do is try to reach out to them if you would be leaving the house early before them \u2013 and if there is need for them to re-park in your favour<\/p>\n

Always rely on your mirrors<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are not a professional driver if you don\u2019t rely on your side and rear mirrors for navigation \u2013 you will be surprised at the silly mistake you can make by neglecting these important parts of the car. It helps your parking a great deal because reverse parking seems easy when you pay attention to the mirrors.<\/p>\n

Perfect your parking with the use of technology<\/strong><\/p>\n

The world is always a better place with technology and recently auto-technology is getting more advanced as days go by. Today we are blessed with cars that possess parking guide devices that help us park properly.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s cars come with motion sensors and rear view cameras that gives you that perfection in parking without complains from other occupants of the house. If you are not perfect on your driving and parking skills, you can definitely rely on these sensors.<\/p>\n
