For sale: Hot Sale: 2 Bedroom Maisonette Apartment

Some homes look good in photos. This one feels good the moment you walk through the door.

This gorgeous Scandic Court 3 Apartment is a two-bedroom maisonette apartment in Ilasan, Lekki, designed around clean lines, soft natural light and a calm Scandinavian feel. It’s the kind of space that lets you breathe out after a long day experiencing Lagos… and honestly, that’s worth a lot.

The home comes unfurnished, with the hard, expensive parts already done for you: a fully fitted kitchen, fitted wardrobes in both bedrooms and that showstopper staircase. The rest is yours to style however you like, whether that’s warm and minimal, bold and colourful, or somewhere in between.

Location: Ilasan, One Turn Off the Lekki–Epe Expressway

Scandic Court 3 sits on a well-paved road in Ilasan, just one turn off the Lekki–Epe Expressway and within walking distance of the junction. No wrestling with rough inner roads, no long crawl just to get onto the expressway. You’re out and moving in minutes, and visitors, drivers and delivery riders find you easily.

Everyday shopping is right on your doorstep, with Blenco supermarket close by and Circle Mall, home to Shoprite, a short drive away. Lekki Phase 1, Victoria Island, Ajah and the fast-growing Ibeju-Lekki corridor are all within easy reach, along with good schools, restaurants, hospitals and business hubs. It’s the sweet spot of Lekki living: close to everything, without being stuck in the middle of the noise.

Bright, Open Living Downstairs

The ground floor opens into a generous living area finished in large-format grey porcelain tiles, with a recessed ceiling and warm LED downlights. Full-height glass sliding doors pull daylight deep into the room and open onto a private balcony, so the space never feels boxed in. There’s a guest toilet just off the lounge too, which you’ll appreciate the first time friends come over.

A Kitchen You’ll Actually Want to Cook In

The fitted kitchen is finished in high-gloss charcoal cabinetry with a marble-effect backsplash and worktop. There’s a tall pantry unit and a dedicated housing ready for your oven and microwave, so your appliances slot straight in. Plenty of storage. Plenty of counter space. Quick breakfast before work or a full pot of jollof for Sunday visitors, it just works.

That Staircase

Floating timber treads. A frameless glass balustrade. It’s the architectural centrepiece of the home and the first thing your guests will comment on. It also keeps the downstairs feeling open, because nothing blocks the light. Honestly, it’s the kind of detail you’d normally only find in homes priced well above this one.

Two En-Suite Bedrooms Upstairs

Upstairs, privacy takes over. Both bedrooms are en-suite, each with fitted wardrobes and its own glass-fronted balcony. No queueing for the bathroom in the morning. No arguments about wardrobe space. Grohe sanitaryware and tiled finishes keep things looking sharp. It suits a couple who need a home office, young professionals sharing, or a small family getting started. And after a long day, stepping out onto your own balcony with a cold drink as the evening breeze comes in… that’s the bit you’ll miss when you travel.

Estate Amenities

Living here takes away a lot of the everyday headaches of Lagos life, and that’s what you’re really paying for:

24-hour power, so you’re never planning your evening around a generator
Treated water infrastructure for a clean, reliable supply
Rooftop fitness and yoga room for workouts with a view
Co-working lounge for focused work without leaving the building
Elevator access

A Smart Buy for Homeowners and Investors

If you’re buying from abroad, this is the kind of property that’s easy to own remotely. A well-finished two-bedroom in Ilasan, walking distance from the expressway, with uninterrupted power and shared work and fitness spaces, is exactly what young professionals, expatriates, returning diaspora and short-let guests look for. Strong rental appeal, simple to manage. And because it’s unfurnished, you control the finish, whether it’s your own home or a short-let ready for guests. Location, finish and infrastructure like this tend to hold their value long after the paint dries.
